oh my god !!!! cant believe you did that with your hunters !!!! the oil will perish the rubber from inside, i used olive oil on my first pair, big error they blew up in the calf and looked so baggy and went thin, had to buy a new pair, fairfields stuff is best
Hi Kathy, I did this seven months ago and the boots are absolutely fine. If trying this, you should only use a small amount of oil (It goes a long way with a bit of effort). After constantly buffing they need to be air dried and re-buffed with a dry cloth, followed by a thorougher rinse with warm soapy water. Hey presto - clean boots:)
